Australia’s richest ever native fishing competition.

This is your chance to win a share of $500,000 in Australia’s newest, exciting and richest freshwater fishing tournament. GoFish Nagambie 2019 is unrivalled by any other fishing tournament in the country. With the biggest and best prizes and cheques being handed out to anglers of all abilities, it’s set to be HUGE. Trust us when we say, you don’t want to miss this one!

This is a tournament for anglers of all abilities and entries start at $50 for kids are capped at $160 for adults. Whether you fancy yourself as the ‘Cod Father’, a gun fisho who’s got what it takes to reel in the biggest fish of the tournament; a novice angler who wants to have a go, learn from the best and get involved; or a young gun who loves fishing with the old man; you’ll all be in with a chance to take home some coin and some awesome prizes.

And for those saltwater fishos out there, if you’ve never been freshwater fishing before, then you haven’t experienced that special deep thud of the lure as it stops abruptly in the middle of a retrieval and shakes violently before racing back to the nearest log. Cod put up a short but gutsy fight that’s like no other. Not to mention that Murray Cod tend to live in some of the most picturesque locations from gum-lined rivers that cut their way through wheat fields, to spectacular gorge country with large boulders. You saltwater fishos will certainly get a kick out of GoFish Nagambie, and it’s a great excuse to get some new gear and try something different – not that you need one!
