Spring fishing is well and truly underway so check out where to go and what to throw in and around Nagambie Lakes and the Goulburn River.
With Nagambie producing less then ideal conditions with the water temperature struggling to rise and the wind wreaking havoc. The weather is looking better over the weekend and into next week. Its only a matter of time before Nagambie fires up! If you’re in the area and looking to fish the Goulburn, you want to be heading to Murchison, Toolamba, Shepparton and Undera. These areas are fishing pretty well for yellowbelly around the 40cm mark with the occasional up in the 50cms getting hauled in. Bait fishing is the best method at the moment, with worms the standout, as the river is still not 100% clear.
